Hi Michael;

In July 1941, The Royal Winnipeg Rifles were located at Camp Debert; Nova Scotia, Canada. They didn't reach England until 12 Sep 41, aboard the S.S. ORBITA, docking at Liverpool, by train to Aldershot (Oudenarde Barracks), where they stayed until Dec 41 before joining the rest of the Canadian Army in the defence of the UK.

Cheers
