MLU Express Sightings
There have been recent sightings of an MLU Express movement in Western Canada... Reportedly passing from Alberta, through Saskatchewan, and last seen at the Manitoba border waiting for the cover of darkness.
I suspect the Manitoba Inspector will not let this sneak through the province without being intercepted! I'm looking forward to more updates, on this one...

I SAW That!
It was on it's way through Swift Current, SK at about 1:35 PM today. If it came from the Guthrie Collection, and still has my name in White Paint Marker on one side.. I will be claiming "Dibbs" on it if I find it.....

If anyone sees this Land Rover 90 rolling chassis heading east from Alberta please take a snap and post it, the box all wrapped up on the back is for me, no comment on the rest of the load.
Wonder where it will get spotted

Had a look at the currently open permits for tpt through the provincial border. None on this item. I strongly suspect there may be a seizure occurring today until this is sorted.....
The Landrover, of course, may pass thru unabated, just as long as there is no elm firewood in it or zebra muscles on it. |

The body was actually owned by Don Overs of MJ. Jack had called around looking for an artillery tractor body, and Don mentioned he had one he had never seen out at that yard. Jack called him back later and said he had a look at it, and it was basically scrap, and paid appropriately for it. But when the body showed up in Moose Jaw (Jack was having an 8cwt picked up as well if I remember correctly) the FAT body was obviously much better than scrap. It even still had the padlocks hanging on the bin doors. Don felt like he might have been taken a little on the "scrap" designation. Last edited by rob love; 11-05-18 at 14:09. |
