Default Pioneer rack

Evening all,

Does anyone have a clear picture of the pioneer tool rack that belongs on the steel, 3 tonne dropside Australian body.

Located down near the drivers side fuel tank

Default And

How it is attached to the body.

There must be some sort of support brackets bolted to it and to allow it to be mounted to the chassis and/or body.

Default An update

Have had some help via Email off the forum.

Thought I'd post it for future reference.

This the correct rack (ie not the American one). If anyone is prepared to climb under their truck could they take photos of how it is mounted?

There are brackets behind it so some photos would be handy.

Default Pioneer Rack

G'day Tony,

It looks to me like there is a piece of 2" flat bar which extends upwards to the tray and the tool rack is bolted to that. It is reinforced by another piece in a ^ type bracket.

Hope you made it back to Ganmain ok.

Cheers,

Ian
