Default Chev Blitz Bits Australia

Gday you mob ...
Anyone know where I can get the following? (1942 Cab 13)
1) 6v bulbs for guard mounted convoy lights - guess I will need others too in time.
2) Plates that go on engine cover - I have only holes where they were, not sure what I should have, know I need a shift plate (C60L) but not clear on what else.
3) Small toggle switches used for all dash mounted functions.
Any info re: repro, NOS, used, ring-ins or similar appreciated.

Default Re 6v bulbs

Hi Dave, I may be able to help with 6v bulbs. Give me a description (a photo would be good) also wattage, base type, base contacts etc.
Thanks for posting this as I am also looking for plates for a C60 (I have none at all) and some info on the switches would be good also. I have heard that someone is reproducing the plates. We might get some news.

Default switches

Hi

The toggle switches are a generic item, I've seen many switches that look similar to the originals, made by various companies, they differ in small details but all look the same basically . It depends on how much of a 'anorak' you are Don't think anybody will be too critical about it . Have a look on epay

What size are the bulbs ? Dimensions ?

The lamps used a 6v 4w BA15s bulb, available from a wide variety of sources: New, old, NOS, US, UK, China, just limited by the price you want to pay, even LED are available.

These seem to be the cheapest going: https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/6v-Motor...QAAOSwSKtabG5q

Default Here's the thing

Thanks as always gentlemen ...
Re the bulbs: I should have clarified initially - the bulbs are long gone - I had to pick the remains of their bases out of the holders - so I don't know what am looking for.

Default Chevy shift and information plates

Hi Dave,

I was looking at this recently.

LWD Parts in the Netherlands have repros shift plates etc but the cost and postage is high.

45 euros for the shift plate and 30 euros each for a couple others.
From personal experience the cheapest parcel postage is 30 euros from the Netherlands.

3 plates plus postage = 135 euros x 1.63 = $220.05 Aus

I deleted the switches photos. I see Chev switches are different to Ford's. Just another thing that wasn't common.

Cheers,

Default Smaller Switches?

Thanks again for all input - am I imagining things or are the Chev 'car dash' switches more petite? (Corowa) Sample here. These are what I am chasing.
