Brad
I had the same problem when I did mine years back. I had a few pieces of the origional, and there were a few pieces available on the market (I think Brian Asbury lists one portion of it), but after asking on Ferret Heaven website, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't going to be easy to find origionals. I ended up using portions of the rubber seal that goes on the rear of the M113 hull for the ramp; some numpty at work had ordered 20 of them (and there huge), so they were headed to the BFI bin anyway. I cut the pieces to length and used weatherstrip adhesive to hold them in place.
The origionals weren't really all that pliable anyway, and I suspect you could have them made out of wood and get good results as well.
