The US was overseeing the destruction of the nukes but I'm not sure if they finished yet. They also had quite a fleet of nuclear bombers that remained unserviced and will never fly again. I wonder how many of those tanks will make it into collectors hands?

No. The Ukranians divested themselves of their boomers as quickly as they could after independance from the Soviet Union.

No, they traded them away for Crimea. Now Russia wants that back too, hence the trouble.
