Default I D required

At a local clearing sale I picked up 2 transfer cases. One very different from normal 4 x 4 as drive went straight thru and the Hi / Lo shift rod doesn,t protrude thru the case and the case has fewer ribs.

Totally different to a C15a as it has shift rod which moves top gear rear ward to lock into output shaft.

Default 2 speed.....?

First picture...centre bottom.... looks like the first part to a PTO......spline shaft showing..

3rd picture shows the front of the T case where the speedo cable connects....strange that on the right side is the input shaft yoke from the engine...... but the yoke to what should be the front axle has no typical front axle disconnect...... armored full time 4x4..???

...and the last picture seems to show the rear of the T case which is the E brake drum and the attachment for the E brake.....

That seems like a 2 speed with e brake attachment.

Bob

Bob,
Maybe White Scout Car in pic.5. Here is the scan from the parts book for comparison.

Have to go and have a better look at mine.

Regards Rick.
