Default Canadian Lynx

I have always heard a rumor that when Canada pulled out of Germany that they sold off lots of vehicles. Including the Canadian Lynx RECCE (It looked like a cut down M113, but the engine was actually in the rear, it had a .50 HMG in a cupola mount) and had sold a number to a iron scrap dealer who in turn sold them to Iran where they are still in service. Has any one ever heard the same rumor or has a picture of the Iran Lynx?

I heard the same story from a very reputable source. The vehicles actually turned up in a sattelite photo. Because the Lynx remained under US controls (ITAR?) there was a bit of poop about this.

I used to work on the Lynx back in the early 80s. During a road test in the back 40 of the Base Maintenance, a jack rabbit jumped out of nowhere. The Lynx sure gave him a run for his money.
