Default antenna ? but for what ?

hello
Can someone help a friend for the identification of this antenna, if it's an antenna.
Is it for an emergency USAAF or RAF radio or an other things ?

the reference bag is 10B/2787.
All antenna parts have a reference as 10B/2557, 10B/2556, etc...

Stores reference section 10B is Royal Air Force aerial parts so definitely British.

So..... are the different lengths for different frequency ranges?
I'm trying to double my radio knowledge.
