Default M101 1/4 ton trailer data sheet

Hello

I am putting together an article on the CDN 1/4 ton trailer and am missing information on the M101 1/4 ton trailer.

Is there a data sheet indicating numbers produced etc? Also if there is a repair/parts manual and the Tech numbers etc.

Thanks

Eric

If I recall correctly, the 101CDN2 was in the C-30-825 series of publications. I checked the ref library here at work and unfortunately we don't have anything.

Hi Eric,
I thought the M101 trailer was the 3/4 ton trailer and the M100 was the 1/4 ton trailer? I have these data sheets on the trailer if they help you?

M100 was the original MCI made 1/4 ton trailer. They had an ERN of 30810, so any manuals would have been numbered in that range once we went to the NDID system of manuals.

When they were due to be replaced in the early 90s, someone in Ottawa designated the new DEW engineering 1/4 ton trailers the M101CDN2, and they stuck with that number. I mentioned it to an LCMM and he said it wasn't going to be an issue since the M101 family of trailers were being replaced soon, and sure enough a decade later they were. The M101CDN2 were in the 30825 series of manuals, as I mentioned before.
