On both the mk1 and mk2 Canadian, the hull and accessories are all BSF. The engine and transmission (and likely the rear axle housing) are north american threads (UNC or UNF). The 4 bolts holding the upper angle over the radiator/division plate could be either BSF or UNF.

The only threads on the front armour that I can think of are the window mechanisms and perhaps the cover over the gunners port. They will all be BSF.

Default UC thread

maybe wrong question.
Are on gunners plate the dimensions in red circle threads? If yes, which one?

The bottom marked item.... Is that not a raised peg to stop the folding armour travelling too far ?

According to the parts manual, everything in that area is BSF.

I agree that they are BSF. The stop peg still has a BSF thread

Default Something not right.

Sorry to be Picky here...and don't wish to be confrontational.......your asking for measurements and details off people here at MLU but you appear to have deliberately masked out your measurements on the drawing so others cannot benefit..... Seems a bit off.

Here are everybody helpfull with all, exchanging experiences, spare parts etc., but no with measures of the front armor. :-(

I am so sorry for the masked measures. But everytime when I asked for any measures, nobody help me. :-( Everybody would like payment for this. :-(

I know it takes any time for making drawings and take measures, I know it wery well. :-D

Only one friend help me with, for me missing, measures.
I can show all my work, but why with this experience. :-(

I would like say thank you to everybody who is so kind and can help.

In Holland the police is one's best friend, or so they say

Let's keep this in the right prespective guys, it's a matter of giving and taking having to be in balance. So Eddy & Richie, take out those measuring tapes and help Radek with his much needed measurements

PS: while you are at it, Siemon is in need of some measurements as well

Thanks,
Hanno

Like I say mine is repro, and I had no reference when unmade the section but here goes

I have to upload them off site as I am using apple products

Like I say could be wrong but I made it work.

I still need to put the fillet in on the upright angle bar as you can see it's missing

The hole in the front plate should be threaded. The screw has a shoulder on it and this is what the swinging plate pivots off of. The head of the screw is not flush with the front of the swinging plate.

Is the positioning etc the same between mk1 and mk2 ? Perhaps Jordan could offer his up for measurements ? As stated above mine could be wrong.... That said the swing plate was a direct copy of an original mk1.

I will rebuild the thing tonight..... Busy putting elbows back on conduits that I took off to assist other MLU'ers too ! Busy night ahead for me 😜

Default UC vs. UC

I am not an expert and no longer in UC problems.

I have recieved informations, we are speaking about nord American carriers, that the Canadian MkI*, Canadian MkII* and US T16 hasnīt the same pattern and dimesions of front armor.
The same pattern and same dimensions have ony MkII* and Winsdor.

Radek, Firstly "Merry Christmas"
I believe that dimensionally the gunners left plate and right plate are the same in the MkI* and MKII* There are variations with the things that are mounted on those plates (extinguishers etc), but essentially the same across those models.
