Dear people,

Shawn Winnington-Ball will take the forum down for maintenance purposes.

This is scheduled for Monday 23rd January from 8:00-10:00 PM Eastern Standard Time (EST).

Shawn will make a backup of the database to prepare the migration to vBulletin's servers. As many of you know, the software we are currently using is outdated, so we will move to a new software version and a more secure server. See https://forum.vbulletin.com/ for the look and feel of the current version of the forum software which we be using.

If there are any problems, please e-mail us.

The server is back online now! Hanno and I will be coordinating the migration of this forum to a cloud vBulletin instance in the coming weeks. This is a long-awaited upgrade that will greatly improve the look & feel, performance, and security of this forum. We may need a bit more downtime between now and the final cut-over date, and if so we'll let you know in advance and keep it to a minimum.
