Why do countries in the World Cup playing one another go nuts when there's a 0-0 score at the end of a game.

... the reason is to get points, you add them, and at the end of the season the team with the highest score in points is the winner.
eg 0:0 => every team gets one point eg 1:0 => winner gets 3 points, looser nothing
