Default Anyone improve on this

I heard a saying that appears to come from George Patton

Let us not sit and mourn for those who died.

Let us give thanks for their service.

Any one know the right words

Thanks

Col

Google does:

"It is foolish and wrong to mourn the men who died.
Rather we should thank God that such men lived."
