Default Italia wins World Cup of soccer

BUT,I have a question??Why does the French team have a gold chicken or un coq, on their team jersey??
Are they telling us something ?? Input please

re: your question. That is not the first time I've seen the Rooster as a symbol. Rossignol skis use the rooster as their corporate symbol also. Don't know the significance of the coq. Un petite Coq au Vin?

The chicken on their jerseys wouldn't have anything to do with...

Question: Why did the French plant so many trees along le Champs d'Elysee...?

Answer: So that the German Army could march in the shade.

Sidebar note: It was common knowledge that, during the Cold War period. NATO exercises had it written into their battle orders that effective action had to be taken not if, but when, the French Army failed in their assigned tasks from the threat across the Fulda Plain.

Let's not even talk about the Belgian problem.
