Default White 10-ton 6x4, Model 1064 Cargo Carrier

I'm looking for any information on the White 10-ton 6x4, Model 1064 cargo carrier, aside from the information contained in Fred Crismon's U.S. Military Wheeled Vehicles or the old Data Book of Wheeled Vehicles: Army Transport 1939-1945, which I already have.

I'd like to be able to pin down whether it saw Canadian service in NWE along with material from a manual if one is floating around somewhere.

Thanks in advance.

Chris

Default Is this the Critter?

Hi Chris

Is this the Critter?

White 1064.jpg

Thought the picture might help jog peoples memory.

This picture and short info is out of Bart Vanderveen's Observers Fighting Vehicles Directory WWII.

Cheers Phil

I have a manual for one of these, TM-10-1467, 2nd edition, January 10 1944.

Default That's The One

Thanks Phil. That's the one.

Adrian: Are there any line drawings in your manual?

Cheers,

Chris

I still know one of these trucks tucked away in a building in the Antwerp docks , they had a few of them , and the surviving one was the donor vehicle , it is all there exept some bits from the engine are missing.

Chris, its mostly very good quality photographs with some sectional drawings and line drawings of air and wiring layouts. The picture Phil posted is from this manual.
What in particular do you need?
