Yep, the 1960-61 trials in northern and central Australia: you can see the Leyland FV1119(A) heavy recovery tractor in the background (but Australia purchased the much better M543 wrecker instead).
The Inter was termed a 'Truck, Semitrailer, IHC, Experimental'. The design didn't get beyond the experimental. This was the second set of Outback trails for the L/R Ambulance: the first they were pretty much on their own, just the two prototypes. Mike C
