Default Green Enfield Action Covers?

I just bought a pile of Enfield Action covers..all differant types and makers ect...All are WW2, but while going through them I found a couple that are Green and have a leather reenforcment in them.

They are Canadian and War dated, I have never seen ones like these.

Anyone know anything about them?

Dean

All mine have the leather reinforcement but are the standard tan colour.

Save me a couple for when I get down to pick up the UC 6.

In the British Army anything Green is normally late war when tan/brown colours went out of use.

Not sure what the Canadian army did, what are they dated.

Incidently I have never seen a British example with leather reinforcement. Is this a Canadian thing or an early war pattern which the British army deleted to save material and the Canadians kept manufacturing.

These are Canadian and I think 1942 or 43 dated.
All the tan action covers I bought ( about 100 of them) have canvass reenforcements in them
