Default Firefly Sherman Info Needed

Does anyone have a clear picture of the 2" bomb thrower opening on the outside of the turret? I have several books on the Firefly but none show a clear view of the port. Was it just an oval hole or was there a cover over the hole?... Thank you in advance..... Harold

It's an oval hole in the turret but it has a frame around it with a Z section, welded to the turret top to enable a canvas cover to be fitted.

I can take a picture of one here in the morning if this is not clear!

The Z section, oval frame is the same as fitted on Cromwell.
