CMP Chevrolet Hand Brake Clevis
Does anybody know of a source for the brake rod adjusting clevis yokes off the end of the handbrake cables on the CMP Chevrolets? Please see attached photos. They are GM part number 592087, and are 3-5/16" long with a 5/16-24 thread to one end. Looks like the Chevrolet Utility trucks (1936-54) used the same part.
I could make some up out of flat bar. I can also get shorter clevis yokes, but I'd like to use the proper article if possible. Thanks in advance, Owen.

Try an old tractor shop
Hi Owen
Not sure of your side of the pond, but I have found them in Tractor Farm Equipment Dealer an older one that started selling parts back in 50s. Cheers Phil

Thanks for the tip; I'll give that a try over the weekend. Cheers, Owen.
