Mystery Lifting frame identity sought
Recently this landed in my hands.
It came about 8 years ago from out west (the promised land), Alberta to be precise. It was in a mixed treasure trove of MV related parts that were mostly (99.9%) British MOD stuff. There have been a couple of notable exceptions. It has been suggested that because of the wire rope terminations it might be Canadian. A pair of slip joint pliers are in the photo for scale. My initial thought was that it looked like a locally produced Ferret power pack lifting frame. There are no markings what so ever on it at all. Looks well made with a purpose in mind. R |

The M113 sling is similar but not the same.

It has been suggested that it may be for a Walker Bulldog pack.
I'm asking for anyone with one such device for some measurements if they have any. Thanks R |
