Default British Armoured Unit Marking

I am interested in the knowing what the '67' represents as shown on the armoured car am M3 Grant. Is this '67' unique to one British unit?

The caption to this photo states - 5th Royal Tank Regiment, 4th Armoured Brigade.

Thanks in advance.

67 on a red background is the junior Armoured Regiment in the senior Armoured Brigade within an Armoured Division in Middle East Forces from September 21st 1941.

The Grant entered service in early 1942 so, depending on timescales, the vehicle might belong to 6th Royal Tank Regiment, 4th Armoured Brigade, but those more knowledgable than I will confirm or correct me

I can correct myself.....

Defiance III belonged to the 4th County of London Yeomanry, (The Sharpshooters), 22nd Armoured Brigade, 7th Armoured Division. 22nd Armoured Brigade joined 7th Armoured Division on 26th July 1942
