Default Indian Pattern ambulance survivor

Surviving in QLD is this poor Indian pattern Ambulance , or remains of, is more accurate description . Has anybody ever seen or heard of another survivor ? The bonnet marking is also revealing with USA ? http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/showthread.php?t=4040

Bit of a write up but no reference to the Australian connection ! https://www.o5m6.de/western/Ambulances.php
