Dennis Gelean 1939-2022 RIP

I just got word that Dennis Gelean of Smithers, British Columbia has passed away. He joined MLU in 2008 and was last active on our forum in 2017.

Dennis' collection of vehicles will be posted for sale on this forum by Barry Finnegan who is helping his family with the sale.

Dennis passed away a number of years ago, I should have/ could have posted something here but I was definitly remiss on that. Knew him well and did a lot together when he lived down here on the coast but only ever once visited him after he moved to Smithers, 14-15 hour drive away in good weather. He built himself and his wife a nice little house in a beautiful setting up there. Nice warm garage with a very strong roof. Tremendous amount of snowfall where he lived.
Several nice vehicles as I recall, two Fords with wire 5 boxes and a Cab12 15CWT plus an M37. Could have changed before he passed away but glad to hear something is going to be done with the MV's.
The fishing gear collection was also extensive and well sorted. Known locally as the gas mask collector which was huge. I'll try to dig up a picture. Thanks for posting this.
