Default Dash

Well spotted and it's from a Canadian F15 too.

But I think $200 is a little high for a starting bid.

Here's a link.

Default Yes HIGH

Considering the price VS. a whole truck @ an auction: I agree with Keith. What an outrageous price.!!!!!

Hi all
I'm restoring one of these units at the moment for $250. Unfortunately it's taking a while as all my limited stock of Ford speedometer heads have been soaking in diesel for over four months to try and un-freeze them. Even though I prefer Ford Blitzs I must admit the Chevrolet instruments are far easier to work with, especially the speedometers.

I certainly wouldn't pay that sort of money for the Ebay unit, however anyone who needs one and who doesn't know about me could think that was a bargain.

Bob

Default And the data plates

The other one is the publications plate - the elusive vehicle serials are on a third plate which would be located on the engine cover.

I picked up a Chev Dash the other day for twenty dollars . It really comes down to how much your willing to pay and how many are on offer .

Default Restored Chevrolet Panel

James & Daniel
If you are happy with your buys, be happy. However James, depending on its condition, that was a GOOD buy. Attached is sample of one of my restored panels. I have all the instrument decals and scripted glass. PM if interested.

Default Dash Panels

James - you probably don't realise that we have more Blitzs on the ground in Oz that there is in the rest of the world combined. Canada has one I think, the UK has three and the rest of the world about fifteen. They still grow on trees here.

Hey Bob; I don't know about growing on trees (but a few trees growing through the odd truck perhaps) but I am sniffing out another C60X with a crain attached, fingers crossed I might get a set of twins! Dont think the owner wants to part company yet though! As for the dash, the plates that hold the switches need new decals and the speedo could do with a cleanup (and conversion to kmph) Its a late war round type. how hard are these to do up? Am busy with harvest at the moment but will post a pic soon.
