Canadian winter track
Documented reference to the Canadian winter track is readily found for the spudded variant, less so for the ‘bar’ style.
Although the carrier in the image appears to have been built between February and May, 1942, it looks as though the series “F” sprockets are installed. Domestic WD numbering system. |

Wonderful to share rare information such as this. I'm already impressed with the content on this MLU Forum. Brilliant stuff.

It's interesting to see that this Mk1* has been converted for the WS19 in place of the WS11. I've not seen an actual picture of this conversion before.

As another UK based carrier owner with modified track said, “(insert labourer name here) on a 9 inch grinder” resolves the modifications. |

I'm interested to know, Do you notice them at all, when driving on a hard surface?
