Thank you Maurice. Then the Jaap De Groot vehicle was not an A2 at all, but a modified A3 ?
My apologies for taking the thread off direction.

Default Sherman monuments

If you can get the tank, the 6046 power pack isn't much of a problem as they were widely used in boats as well and lots ended up in the oil industry as mud pumps mounted on a frame with the rads in the normal location. Diesel source in Calgary had a dozen units in stock a few years ago, they were a little later manufacture as they had internal fuel lines to the injectors rather than the external lines seen on the WWII produced ones.

However, the dashboard (which is always missing) is a bit more challenging to obtain, for some reason they're always missing. I had heard that Princess Auto in Winnipeg had tri-walls of them but I only ever found one and it was in a target tank in Cold Lake. The junior ranks mess of the Kings own Calgary Regiment has one in a display case but I doubt they would let it go.
