Default Grong Grong

Ah, "Grong Grong"... the sound a 4X4 CMP makes tootling along the road at speed.

That's not far from one of the Cab 12 centres of the universe.

Yep you're right. Just three or four good kicks of the footy from here. AND it's on my birthday. AND I will be at my sister's place (Gosford).
Dammit! Anyone attending?

Smile Clearing Sale

I called in on the way home from Griffith on Sunday to look at the Blitz.
The cab & chassis seems in pretty good nick, the tray (or what is left of it) seems to be CMP but comes right up to the cab, i.e. no toolbox or spare.
I didn't get too many photos as it was raining & only had my camera phone.

AND it was raining.
Anyone going?
There was also a nice 8BA powered F600, a later Y block F600, the Maple Leaf has obviously been shedded & looked quite good for an easy restorer.
The old Bedford was quite ordinary to say the least.

Smile Report

Greetings from the NSW Central coast, 6.5 hours from Grong-Grong.
My mole reports my bid of $200 was well and truly swamped, selling for $500!
Buyer unknown at this stage... Although I can guess. At least it wasn't a scrappie!
I'll ring my suspect & quizz him on my return home.
