When Jif was in Aussie
He spent time with our titfer, Mrs. Bigglesworth.
A fine example of her species.

Wonderful.......
Great little kittens Geoff...... enjoy.
Amazing that a bunch of red neck grease balls..... albeit grown men ...can admit to loving them little things...... They do bring a lot of joy and entertainment..... tax free. Boobee

This thread on Kittens is inspired by Kittens, which in turn inspired me to do my first post with this vid:

Bloody Hell....
Well, the good news is that our Kitteh Kollective is doing well, having doubled in size in the last month and being permanently up to NO GOOD. In addition, our one year-old black kitteh fuzzball adopted the new ones as her own and has been on their case ever since. It's fun.
The BAD news is that Sally showed up this afternoon with an aquarium full of... wait for it... crickets. Yes, CRICKETS. Those highly annoying chirpy bugs that like to jump and make loud noises whenever you're trying to sleep. Cat toys, she said. Except that the cats aren't allowed to eat them (damn...). Instead, the crickets are currently resident - complete with food and water (what the HELL do you feed crickets anyway??) - in our sunroom. And the aquarium is covered in cats. This will be interesting.

As to the aquarium being "full" ... it has 5 crickets in it. I got it off the curb from two houses down, their gecko had died. Crickets are omnivores... a movie in the making ...." Attack of the Chirpers" .... and they sang as they ate. Geoff should sleep with one eye open now |

Crickets
Doesn't he always sleep that way?
I like the fact it has been gleaned - perhaps their cat got the gecko?

Cats are nice Keith.
Foxes are nice too, but only with a touch of Raseberry jam.

Sally I think jif would prefer one of these cuddly critters rather than some crickets

Amazing how that one managed to catch 40 winks in the chook shed of all places, so much so someone was able do dab that raspberry jam on him. As for the other furry cuddly critters, Andrew. Perhaps Sally can pop into the noxious pet shop to grab one for him to rub against his face. When he visited here he couldn't wait to see some of our indigenous wildlife.

critters
I think Geoff's next pet will be one of these :
Will take care of those crickets in no time . During Summer , they patrol up and down the fence here , seeking out bunnies . I've been startled a few times as they are difficult to spot in the scrub as I walk up to the letterbox ... worse than joe blakes .. you normally hear them before making eye contact ... Mike

We have agricultural pesticides that do wonders on crickets. If you're not careful they'll work on lots of critters you'd like to keep around too.
As you can see in the pic, crickets tend to get to be a nuisance around here at times.

What a clean up
So you'll be left with just one goanna. Sort of reminds me of an old Warner Bros cartoon (I think starring Sylvester the cat) which started with a mouse, then a cat was needed and wound up with an elephant which then needed a mouse to remove it. Perpetual motion.
