Default Verry interesting!

Thanks Mike - interesting to see the numbers for CMP production!

134 CGT bodies built in 1943 - these are probably the No8 tractor as the No9 was a 1944 pattern.

The obvious question is are there any more pages showing 1944-45?

Default Sorry

Hi Keith

Sorry , I dont have any records post 43 .

I wonder what the model differences mean e.g.

Roadster cab ( sunshine roof ) has 3 variants listed.

WO 5410A
WO 5610A
WO 5710A

They list 197 Willys sedans for 1941 . I and another VMVC member went up to Bendigo to look at one , 27 years ago. It had been a doctors car from new . It was rough but restorable . Quite a rare car here .

The Pontiac pickup utility, 370 made during 1942 , these are the unique ' woody ' utes , made using masonite panels . They built 291 Chevs in that style too . Although built during 42 , they used the 41 front grill and trim on them.

There was only one 5710A built in 43 .
The WO numbers don't align to any of the ones as stamped on the vehicle data plate (predictably) and even taking them in abbreviated forms WO 54, 56 and 57 were all on the 8443 or C60L chassis which makes them unlikely candidates as the roadster or sunshine cabs were confined almost exclusively to the 15cwt chassis. The prototype No6 atry tractor had a sunshine roof and was on the 8442 chassis. Interestingly the photographs of it taken at Wesley Grammar in Melbourne show it had not been allocated an ARN.
