Default Alvis Stalwart mk 2

I'm old enough and crippled enough to finally admit that I'm never going to do anything with my Stolley. I thought I'd post it here where at least some people know a what it is (if you don't, or even if you do, there's some cool video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3mr_pCrhTkk ) before I put it on Kijiji and have to answer too many questions.

The most visible modification is the extended cab. It's not full-length like the tourist-boat versions. The previous owner called it a crew cab. It still has most of the cargo bed.

It has the diesel conversion that Rolls-Royce tried to sell to the British army, using a k-60 engine. The stack of manuals and other literature that comes with it includes the memos that describe how it was done.

The swim gear is all in place and apparently working. Before I bought it, I had a ride in the Thames in it and it worked then.

It has had dog-clutches installed in the forward and rear drive shafts so that it can be run in 2, 4, or 6-wheel drive. This should help with the drive-line wind-up problems that people complain about. The previous owner said he intended to install pneumatic cylinders to engage the clutches, but they're presently manually operated and somewhat inconvenient. I must confess that I never got around to examining exactly how they were set up, and now I'm too stiff to get to them if I tried.

The only spares I have are a transmission, a set of brake calipers, and one 1400-20 tire. I did mention it includes manuals and other literature.

It's located between London and Windsor Ontario.
