Default Side Curtains

I like to think of side curtains for my HUP as a work in progress. Actually, it is a work at a complete standstill. The problem is obtaining the "gasket" between the bottom of the side curtain and the door. Does anyone know of a source?
I have several original side curtains and some frames I fabricated myself. Some of the originals have a rubber gasket with a keyhole cross section. Some use a canvas gasket. I suspect the rubber would be the authentic choice for my 42 truck but I am not picky.

Default Canvas Version Easy to Fabricate

Hi John

I have never seen the rubber version hopefully some one will post a cross section picture.

The canvas version easy to fabricate and stand up very well, will take some photos and post. I've got my orginal ones which I've kept as templates so can post photos of particular section if needed.

Cheers Phil

Default Rubber Cross Section

Thanks Phil. I'm looking forward to your pictures.
I can show the rubber cross section but not till the spring when I am home from Arizona. I posed my question now in case there was a US source.

Default Gasket pictures

I have five original side curtains - all different. The gaskets are rubber (presumably early production) or canvas. The steel in the frames varies in both width and thickness. I have fabricated frames using the earlier samples but still trying to figure out the gaskets.

Default W/strip

John, I have the complete rubber seals kits for the cab 13 door curtains. Some of the lengths might need to be longer on some HUP a curtains.
PM me for details. ....Brian
