Rumor mill - Tiger 1
I got a call yesterday afternoon with an interesting story. My source is reliable, but they don't know if this info is reliable or not. So.... I'm only attributing it to a rumor at this point.
The story is that there's a guy (broker perhaps) in Russia that is offering an "original" Tiger 1 (40% original). The vehicle is supposedly complete and the guy is asking 38 million Euros. I asked if this wasn't one of the replicas they're making, and he said "no" that this one is supposed to be the real deal (I would hope so for that price). It's a long shot, but I figure I'd throw it out there to see if anyone has heard of this, has more details, or can correct any errors in the story. I don't have 38 Mil or know anyone that does, so this is only to satisfy inquiring minds. Chuck |

Still, would you qualify yourself as a "serious buyer" (as is often asked in ads these days)

FSB agents intercepted a guy trying to smuggle a perfectly working T-34/85 put on a train and heading to Azerbijan.. So good luck to anybody who want to ship a Tiger
I guess even if the news is real then we won't see it until it's out... |

Sounds like it good be the Tiger I parts that were offered on Milweb some time ago, and that were also featured on the TV show Combat Dealers. From what I have heard those parts were for sale for around 450 K Euro's.
38 Mil sounds like a lot....even for German armour. Alex
