Default Don Dingwall's "Canadian Armour in the Italian Campaign"?

Greetings,

Does anyone know where can I buy a copy of this book?

Cheers,
Mark

Mark,

I'm sitting here with a copy of it in front me. It was one of Mr Dingwall's earliest works and appears to have been 'desk-top' published. I purchased my copy at his table at a hobby show in Niagara Falls, NY.

Don is now publishing his books through Service Publications in Ottawa. They have a website here. While that particular title does not seem to be offered, if you contact them they will probably be in the best position to assist. As it was a 'desk-top' item it's likely still sitting in a drive somewhere in Don's computer and instantly available.

If you would like to know something specific however, I would be willing to look it up for you. At 54 pages it wouldn't take long to do.

Cheers,
Dan.

Thanks Dan,

I'll try the website and see what happens. Hopefully they would be able to do a print if it is self-published. I am particularly interested in the markings and camouflaging section.

Cheers,
Mark

This was published by Don and SP had no involvement. I may re-print it at some point but I haven't had that conversation with Don yet. I have no idea if he still has an electronic or paper copy.

Clive,

Thanks. I'd certainly be interested in a re-print or even purchasing a photocopy!

Cheers,
Mark

Hello Don,

Here is someone looking for your book - could you please contact Philip (he is in the UK)?

Hello, You are possibly my last hope. I just learnt that Clive Law is no longer with us. I used to get his small books in regular basis but just tried again to get the book "Canadian Armour in Italy" by Don Dingwall. The new people Army outfitters dont respond to e.mails. is it possible to obtain this book or have i missed out completely.

Regards
Philip Lawson

At the Etobicoke military show this month I saw a copy for sale. I think the seller was asking about $20 or so. While I bought something else from the guy, I didn't take his card so I can't help anyone get in contact with him.

There are shows coming up in May and June, and if I see the book again, I'll get the seller's details for everyone and provide them.

And no, I won't buy it for resale. I'm strictly an amateur historian and don't want to loose my standing.

Cheers,
Dan.
