The Hamilton Volunteer Cavalry Unit is a horseback riding club. The club uses their own horses and follows historical Canadian Cavalry training manuals. The club is new to Hamilton but has performed at Hamilton's Dundurn Castle and Niagara's Fort George. The members are known as "Living History Riders" and perform WW1 demonstrations on Cavalry Troop Drill. The club uses WW1 uniforms, weapons and other equipment. The goal of the club is to educate the public about WW1, the Canadian Cavalry, and specifically how Hamilton Soldiers helped defend Canada. The Hamilton Volunteer Cavalry members are proud Canadians that respect the courage, sacrifice, and loyalty of our past and present Soldiers. The proceeds of this event will go towards purchasing equipment for the club. Thanks for reading and hope to see you there.

Met Andy many times... Worked for him doing 1st person living history when he was at NAM.

Sounds like it will be a great talk... Too far for me to get there though. Make sure you ask him about the ww1 trench system he built in his back garden. When he sold the house... He kept the garden...
