Default Wanted

I'm after certain carrier parts.and I dont see many adds for CMP. outlets like we do for U.S. vehicles. I assume Canada is not awash with NOS CMP parts so as a general question are there any suppliers for this sort of stuff?. More specifically i'd like to buy the following, to suit a MkI U.C.;
The exhaust pipes, (L&R) (manifold to floor)
A set of rubber rests (or individually)
The hook for the aerial
The aerial. (mounts on right rear)
A couple of R.V. mirrors (arms not required)
Radiator cap(including pressure valve)
Gear lever Knob
Oil pressure gauge
Ammeter
If I was to be able to get these items from any one place it must help to keep my costs down,
Any guidance on the above collectively or singularly is appreciated
Thanks

Default Mk 1 Carrier stuff

Here in Canada, Mr. Brian Asbury is an excellent source for NOS cmp and UC parts. His phone is (519) 853- 1738 or you can contact via post @ P.O. Box 26 Milton ON L9T2Y3 Canada. Hope this helps.

Sorry Lynn, at this time Brian has yet to ger "online", although it would probably be of great service to his business.

Default UC Parts

I don't own one of these but as usual I'm happy to throw in my 2 cents worth. Unfortunately all are a long way from NZ. Brian Asbury here in Acton, Ontario,Canada does have many NOS UC parts. Rob Greive also here in Ontario has begun to fabricate several repro parts (I believe that he posts on MLU). Cliff Leducier owns a UC and used to advertize parts but I don't know if he has any stock remaining. Lastly, Charlie Fitten of Mary Hill, Ontario has restored several carriers and may be able to steer you in the right direction. Contact me at robdab@look.ca off of MLU if you would like more detailed contact info. Robert in Toronto

Default Parts for UC 1

Lynn

Re. your oil pressure gauge and amp-meter, if you hunt through the forum you will find my post on Ford gauges that I am restoring etc. Have a look at the selections and see if the appropriate gauges are there. If so let me know. If your UCs are the same as ours they should have the standard Ford Gauges, either the brown faced or silver faced series.

Bob

Default Gauges

Bob, English and Canadian Carriers use round gauges, but I do have another carrier project that I hope to involve you in sometime (involving a Ford commercial instrument cluster.
Thanks in advance,
