Cool Petrol Cans for C15A Blitz

This is the first time I have been on the forum. I have a C15A which I am restoring. I would like to know what the clamps look like that hold the two gallon fuel drums when they are placed on top of the tool box (tyre carrier) I have the bottom part but no the top

Hi Colin

Another Gippsland blitz person - we are mutlipyling by the minute . I got onto a cab 12 ( monkey face ) Chev C15 at Boisdale .. would have been 15 years ago. The seller sounded elderly on the phone. I have his details here somewhere . He said it was in rough shape .

I think the POW 2 gallon hold downs are just a rod with a threaded end and a wing nut - and a bit that sits across the cans ... others on this forum will fill you in with the details . Sounds like you have a local pattern No. 2 Steel GS 15cwt GMH built body ?

G'day Colin,
Welcome to the forum.
I've got the bits you want to copy. Zip by and borrow them.
There are 4 on top of the tool bin. One hangs over the edge a bit.
Regards Rick

Default Hi Colin

It is about time you stopped lurking and came out of the closet. Welcome aboard.
