Not totally sure if this might be what you are looking for or not, I missed the Canadians in colour series but a fair bit of information about Canadian Corp of Firefighters in England During WWII
can be found at http://www.firehouse651.com/cgi-bin/...conf=DCConfID4

or

http://firehouse651.com/posten/index.html

www.firehouse651.com is Home Of The Canadian Military and DND FR Group Firefighters Online

Not sure if this is what you're looking for, but I have some info on the Truck, 3-ton, 6x6, Crash Tender (Ford/Marmon-Herrington MM5-6) used by the RCAF in Canada on my Marmon-Herrington website.

Also see Ford/Marmon-Herrington 6x6 conversions

I have not been able to find anything for markings as yet. Possibly if you post a question on one of those sites you will be able to find something.

Post Re: Canadian Fire Services

Hi Jeff;

Its not a very good photo, its from a 1947 dated publication I have, showing members of the Canadian Fire Services on parade in London, England, sometime in 1940. It does not show up in this posted image, but there is some type of 'regimental shoulder flash', on their jacket shoulders, possibly baring the title 'Canadian Fire Services' or 'Fire Services Canada'. I'll see if I can being it up a bit.

Cheers
