Default What colour schemes per regiment ????

i have put a similar thread on the ww2 forums but the lads say to ask here (makes sense i know)

Ok so grandad was in two regiments, initially in the 2nd Bat RSF 5th Div serving at Qum as part of the Pai force then later in Italy.

and later he served with 138bde 46th div KOYLI.

can anyone tell me what the paint schemes would have been for these arena's of war ?

i quite like the look of caunter pattern but if this was not used by grandads regiments i cant use it.

yes i know iam way way off this point, but its nice to think ahead, and after all it may effect my paint prep for small components and the road gear when its removed for cleaning / bearings / paint.

on another tangent how cool is the maltese pattern !!!

Richard

Well, Mike Starmer can. Buy some of his books, they are cheap and packed with well-researched information. The books include contemporary camouflage schemes and colour paint chips, all you need to correctly paint your carrier.

Hope this helps,
Hanno
