As this subject has come up many times on this forum, and I'm trying to sort out some of the wiring on my F15A, I've searched both the old & new forums for sources. I'll stick this thread to the top of the Restoration Forum for easy reference.
If anyone has to add anything (contacts, sources, experiences with suppliers etc.), please stick them in this thread.

I have just had a harness made by Auto Sparks, for a Humber staff car. An excellent job and service. They sent it to me without the braiding to check against the vehicle and for any additions, I then returned it for final braiding. All cables are modern pvc with the original pattern braiding and all the correct colours as in the wiring chart. Cables of all colours are available separately. A few years ago they made one for a Bedford MW and it fitted perfectly.
I do not know if the Canadian / US vehicles use the same colour codes, ours are to a British Standard, each colour denotes a particular circuit, irrespective of make of vehicle.

I can certainly recomend Vinwire. I have had 3 harnesses made by them, 2 Ford and 1 Chev. All excellent quality and everything in the right place/length. Full instructions and diagrams included. The wire colours/traces are the same as original (well, as described in MB-F1) and are all numbered for easy installation. The numbers can be removed after installation or left in place. Very easy to talk to, and will customise for modifications like turn signals, trailer connections, radios, cigarette lighters.....................

I have used Autosparks several times for British vehicle harnesses and they have had patterns already, from which to work from. I know someone who has just had one made by them, for a Ford FGT, but he did supply a pattern. There is no way they can make one without a pattern. What they can do I believe, is to braid your own harness, in other words, you make it and mark where you want it braided together. They can supply all the different coloured cables, see their website.

I can vouch for Vinwire, they made a complete harness for my one ton Model T truck.

Was the first time for them at that stage, they had built them for the car before. I did not have a sample, but they knew of a truck, and went out and measured it all up, at no extra charge.

I have found out the hard way, a potentual supplier of either parts, or rebuild work, if he shows no interest to walk away. When I did the truck I ran into many old timers, who loved the work, and did a good job, at a most favourable price.

My advice, NO INTEREST _ NO WORK.

I was just looking at the Vinwire site and was wondering if the CV455M harness is the correct one for a C15A late pattern13 Cab

The description given is "15CWT & MAPLE LEAF MAIN O.E 5284492 CANADA"

It looks like they have the best price for an off the shelf item.

I queried the Australian place, and their reply is that the listed harness for Chevrolet Blitz Mk II is correct for Cab 13 - anyone had dealings with the Ozx place, and would their Chev Blitz harness be correct for HUP with late U.S.-style guage panel?

My new wiring harness arrived from Vinwire in Oz today. Haven't checked it out fully yet, but it looks top quality. And Paul was really helpful too.

Note this is for a Chev 12 cab Quad, but should be ok to use with my 11 cab C15 (same wheelbase) with minor mods.

Time to check out the 11 cab vs. 12 cab wiring diagrams. If I notice any problems, I'll post them here.

Hello all, I have installed a new wiring loom from Vinwire on my C60S 1942 cab 13 it was correct in all detail. They will add an indicator circuit in if you wish.
I have found that they are very busy and a wait of up to eight weeks is not uncommon.I have another harness for the C15 on back order,
I have not any connection to the company.

The latter company has changed ownership, their website is now https://thewiringharnesscompany.co.uk/. No reference to CMP or any Canadian vehicles can be found on their website.

Autosparks lists three options for "Ford Canadian" without any helpful discription. They do not list a Harness Set for Chevrolet.

Seems Vinwire in Australia is the go-to place for CMP wiring harnesses!

I saw those, Jordan - looks very good. I have ordered a loom for my F15A.
