Default Any Radio Net Interest?

Of course there is a few HF radio nets for military radio collectors to test their radios out on but is there interest for some local activity in the Toronto GTA on 51 Mhz?

I have a RF-10 and PRC-350 that I would love to make contacts on.

Or is this typical of events like Echoes or the FMVA Bivouac?

Exercising the PTT at the tank or Military shows would also be interesting

Default testing frequencies - in Canada

I've been told 49.9 and 48.9 are Range Control admin frequencies, which tend to have little or no control.
