Tank Wrecks at Westkapelle, Netherlands
Finally, I think I’ve finished:
The, as far as I know, first and therefore only, in-depth look at all the derelict military vehicles left in and around the village of Westkapelle in the Netherlands following the Second World War. Download it here, free of charge! Spread the word |

Thank you very much, looks like a true labour of love Jakko!
I will read the final version and get back to you. Meanwhile I will spread the word.

Very well done!
I just downloaded the book and it looks like a great tribute, and a splendid capture of the history of conflict in that area.
A job very well done - thank you . Stewart |

Excellent work Jakko....also happy to see the pictures in high res now
I hope other will join the discussion on some of the details and fittings we see on some of the tanks.....light the neat folding tray, as seen on the transmission cover of the Sherman on the leading picture....the large boxes on the right hand side of the Crabs.......and maybe that piece of round bar welded to the commanders cupola on Crabs (and an occasional Sherman V)! Alex
