Default m37 windshield frame

Hi, looking for a complete m37 outer and inner windshield frame in non rusted condition. Must be willing to ship.

The inner windshields are the same as the mlvw ( and the old 5 ton). A scrap yard in North Battleford has 148 or so mlvws for dismantling. There will be newer windshields on a lot of them.

hi Rob, thanks for the heads up Seems the outer frame is going to be a bit more of a challenge to find.

The one downside to the new MLVW windshields is that they are produced offshore. The metal does not seem to weather well. Brush some oil into the weather stripping between the metal and the glass. The oil will provide 2 functions...it will leave a film on the metal inside the channel, and will swell up the weatherstrip preventing water from entering the channel.



When I go out to the military scrapyard, I see 3/4 ton and 5 ton windshield frames that have been sitting out there for 40 years, and they remain solid. Then I look at the offshore stuff and some of it turns to dust in 5 to 8 years.
