Default Cdn3 with winch on kijiji for 6K

https://www.kijiji.ca/v-classic-cars...ationFlag=true

Hard to tell by the one photo if it is an actual military ramsey winch. Certainly the roller fairlead doesn't look correct. But if it is original, then it is like buying the winch and getting the Jeep thrown in for free.

Its hard to see from the small photo in the ad, but the winch looks like a Ramsey 200 to me (I could be wrong). It would be nice to see more of the winch and PTO.

Wayne: you were right on the Ramsey 200 winch. It still looks like a good deal though...mind you it was a recoiless rifle jeep by the looks of it. The tailgate area has been covered over and the remnants of the gun crutch appear to be under the newer windshield. The history shows it was a Saskatchewan vehicle, so may be in a little better shape underneath.

Yes. it also still has the shovel brackets on the right side, and it may also still have the coil overloads for the rear suspension (people have been looking for those). It could be a promising jeep for someone looking to start a project.

No steering column. Hmm? What else has to be sourced. But w/winch and 106 carrier origins, it has prospects.

One MLU'er in Quebec is working on a similar vehicle in much better condition.

Currently, the steering system is disassembled but have all new parts for restore. Was suffering from the classic willy's wobble thus my need to disassemble.
