Default 21

Ron

They are considered to be rare in the UK, but not as rare as a EK Cole 11 set . A few have turned up in New Zealand, never seen one myself over here but Tony Bell in Adelaide imported one from the UK many years ago.

An unusual set because of the second radio in the one box .

Lou Muelstee's info

"Wireless Set No. 21 was a portable transmitter/receiver developed in 1940. Use: Infantry Brigade and RA Regiment communication but later also employed as general purpose ground and vehicle station. Frequency range 4.2-7.5MHz and 19-31MHz. MO control. RF output 0.8-1.5W. R/T, MCW, CW. Range up to 5 miles. Replacing No. 11 Set LP. High band (19-31MHz) hardly used in practice. "

I have a No 7 PSU (hand generator) which is in a WS18 style case and is for the WS21 set.
