Default British Chieftan Side Bin

I can't really explain why I have this kicking around, but I do and I don't foresee me ever needing it again. It is New old stock in very good condition, stored inside. The supply decal remnants are still on the outside. If you do not have a chieftan, do not despair. I have seen these bolted to the sides of FV432s, and a myriad of other British vehicles to allow extra storage.

In the last photo below, you can see a minor ding from storage on the bottom of the bin, but would not be noticeable once installed.

The new British padlock on the one side is included, but I am afraid there is no key with it.

Asking $400 or best offer. Trades are welcome too. Item is located just a few miles off the trans Canada in Shilo and I am sure someone from the forum would be passing thru at some point going east or west, so if one is patient, shipping in Canada should likely be at minimal cost.

Here is an example of subject bin retrofitted to a scorpion.

By the way, this particular scorpion is reported as being stolen recently from East Sussex, just in case anyone spots it.

Hi Rob, Have got that bin kicking around because those catches are almost the same with ones used on Mk1 carriers?. I have some of those catches here and they could be modified easily.

Default Bins

Those bins where cut in half and extensively used on the British CVRTs during the gulf war. My Striker was fitted with one half on the front and the other mounted in the rear. I am having the same bin modified right now in the UK.

This one almost got cut in half as well. The half bin was going to get installed on a ferret in the manner of the Dingo/Lynx front stowage box. But it is in such nice condition I didn't have the heart.
