Default 1941 Australian Carrier Instrument Panel

Hi All

Just for your info. The image is typical of our early Carrier instrument panels. These were all brown faced King Seeley faces with the speedo being a Waltham Watch Co. Later Carriers had a mix of brown and silver faces dependant on what was available and which workshop built them.

This is one I have just finished restoring and will be fitted into a 1941 South Australian made Carrier Hull No. 2340.

Default Carrier Carryon

What I didn't mention, and you will notice, there is no fuel gauge. This was because the tanks were tested with a wooden dipstick.

Default The Full Monty

Hi All
And here is the completed article. I am proud to say that this panel will be fitted into a Carrier restoration project in New South Wales.
