Were on earth does this go TL14763 BRACKET BUTT HOLDERS?

Kevin its a long shot but does it not mount on top of the engine cover at the front (where the air intacke is) so you can mount a couple of rifles on the top cover ?

Close Richard

It goes on the engine deck but just in front of the mesh grill. The two holders are for the rifles and the other clip holds part of the Bren tripod. These were used on MK2 Carriers.

Hi all, I have located this picture of a mK2 with the same bracket, but I have also seen other types of bren tripod holder brackets, can any one shed any light on these variations?. please see attched pics.

Default Carrier gun mount

On Page 12 of Neigel Watson's book Vol 2 there is a good picture of the mount on a MKII Welsh Guard carrier.It has the the machine gun tripod holder separte from the Lee Enfield guns The thing behind the left gun mount is a rewind bracket for loading the machinegun cartridge I have this set up on mine George

Those are different models of carriers. The one with the same bracket is not a No.2 MKII. It has different engine cover.

I screwed up I ment to say that mine are different .One should allways proof read before hitting the button .I looked in alot of pictures and could it be off of a MKIII ? George

I think so. But I'd have to look though a bunch of stuff to find it .
