Default OIL SEAL No.35070 for a Canadian Scout Car, Ford Lynx

Hi All,

After 37 years of trying to gather enough parts to restore a Canadian Scout Car Ford Lynx 111* I am finally getting into it.

I need 2 oil seals for the front hubs.

Needed are 2 oil seals manufactured by the National Motor Bearing Co. no.#35070.

Thanks Rick.

Default Rick Tony

Against the #35070 I have two Timken listings;

oem 416865 = repco PR4997

CR 415027 = repco PR4621

Am I on the right track?

Same numbers but with variations on the manufacturers:

NATIONAL 416865

SKF or CR 49998

SEAL 5.00id 6.25 od .500w

Also available as a scotseal 50124, but they are an inch wide and very expensive. They do have the advantage of sealing within the seal, rather than the bore.
