Speedo drive spindle and diff adapter
Right just trying to dismantle my speedo cable so i can send marc the adapter bolt that screws into the diff case that he needs to copy and the drive spindle too. I cannot see how you get the spindle off the speedo cable, anyone able to tell me how to strip it down without braking something ?
Cheers Richie

The cable is round with a tab on the side that fits in a slot in the side of the drive gear hole. It should just pull out.

Right thanks again Lynn (and for me carb thread) i didnt want to "yark it" incase it was screwed in or something.. it is well stuck so will leave it in a pot of diesle over night. the good news is the toothed section of the spindle is spot on so its nice to know something was not worn on the old girl
